Another season ofTemptation Island has come to a close, and at long last, fans have answers for what happened between Shyanne and Jack after Kona. As a reminder: 23-year-old Shyanne Blankenship and 25-year-old Jack Mason arrived in Kona with the longest relationship, having been together for five years. Things fell apart for them almost immediately, with Jack hooking up with temptress Carter (and then Jesenia…) while Shyanne began spending her nights with Preston (who, btw, you might recognize from season 1 of Squid Game: The Challenge).
The two eventually left paradise separately, but seven months after filming, the exes seem friendly. And while fans thought they might even possibly be back together, the two clarified at the reunion that they definitely are not…and that the decision was “mutual.” K!
But at least they’re seemingly on good terms! For instance: They made a jokey skit with Mikey Bivens.
And then Jack posted a photo dump ahead of the season 2 premiere featuring pics of himself and Shyanne.
She even slid into the comments section to write, “Keep your head up and show the world a side of you they didn’t get to see. No matter how things went I’ll have your back. 🤞.”
What makes everything more confusing: the fact that Patrick Mahomes’ controversial brother, Jackson Mahomes, has been posting coupley photos and videos of himself with Shyanne for the past year.
It first started in April 2025, when Jackson (who, as you might recall, was sentenced to six months’ probation after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge in March 2024) posted a TikTok with Shyanne, which he captioned, “hard launch.”
That was then followed by this photo of the two together on St. Patrick’s Day…
…which was then followed by a photo of Jackson kissing Shyanne in September, which would have been after filming for Temptation Island season 2 wrapped in August. His caption: “happy w/ u.”
Oh, and then there’s this photo from way back in May 2024, which includes Jack in the second slide!!
But Shyanne cleared up that confusion as well, telling fans on a TikTok Live that she and Jackson (1) are not a thing and (2) never were a thing.
